FACES is a non-profit organization affiliated with NYU Medical Center and The NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. The mission of FACES is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by epilepsy through research, education and awareness, and community-building events.

 

FACES in conjunction with Auction iT NJ are bringing together the power of eBay on-line auctions to take fundraising to the next level. They are holding an ongoing eBay Auction Donation Fundraiser starting November 1st., 2007. Items will be collected nationwide to be sold at auction on eBay.

Auction iT NJ makes it easy for anyone to sell on eBay, and can easily turn donated items into cash donations that will help fund faces. The items will be sold on eBay and the net proceeds will be sent to faces as a tax-deductible cash donation on behalf of the donor. Items for sale on eBay should have a value of at least 75 dollars.

How Does It Work? It’s Easy!
Call, email, or just come to our store to donate items to faces! Items can also be shipped directly to Auction iT NJ. Donated items will be inventoried and examined, and those with good eBay potential will be tagged with your information, photographed, and listed on eBay. Auction iT NJ will also take care of answering bidder questions, collecting payment, packing, and shipping. Once the sales are complete, we will send a check for the net proceeds to faces. If you don’t want to donate the full value, you can donate a percentage or specific amount. We can also provide you a receipt showing the price that your items were sold for and the amount that was donated.

What Items Are Good To Donate?
Everyone has things in their closets, basements, and attics that they are never going to use again. Stores, Businesses, Corporations, Medical Professionals, and others have excess inventory, old equipment, and supplies for retired equipment. Many of these items have significant value on eBay. Please try to donate items that might have a value of at least $75 on eBay.
