Auction iT NJ makes it easy for anyone to sell their “good stuff” on eBay

MANALAPAN, New Jersey, April 1, 2003

The Micro Connection, Inc. today launched a new division called AuctioniTNJ, providing the public an easy way to sell on eBay. Customers simply drop off the items they want to sell, and AuctioniTNJ takes care of the rest. If the items are too big a representative will go to the customer. The company does the photography, pricing, eBay listings, auction management, payment processing, and shipping. When the items sell they send a check to the customer.

“Although eBay makes it easy for people to purchase just about anything, selling is another story,” said Buzz Cherin, president of AuctioniTNJ. “The whole process is complicated and frustrating to the average person. There are many things involved including creating an attractive listing, taking good digital pictures, answering emails, accepting various payment methods, and properly packing and shipping the items. With AuctioniTNJ, you just leave your items with us, we do the work, and you just sit back and get paid for them.”

Customers don’t need a computer or any experience on eBay in order to sell their items. They can bring the items in, call, email, or visit the AuctioniTNJ website to find out their estimated eBay value. The customer then leaves the items with AuctioniTNJ where they take professional digital photographs, prepare great auctions with winning descriptions, and list them on eBay in the right category, at the best time. They manage the auctions by tracking bidders, answering questions, processing payment, and shipping to the winner. AuctioniTNJ earns a commission based on a percentage of the final price and mails a check for the balance to the customer.

For items that are too large to bring to their facility, AuctioniTNJ will go to the customer to get the details and take photographs. When the items sell, they will make arrangements for local pickup, or for a shipper to pack and ship them to the buyer.

In speaking with friends, relatives, and others we have heard there is a real need for our service,” said Buzz. “People who want to sell their collectables, antiques, electronics, art, etc. don’t have the time or patience to deal with lots of dead-end phone calls and potential buyers that never show up. Also, with the auction format on eBay, buyers are bidding the price of your items up, instead of bargaining them down. In the end even after our commission, customers usually end up with more cash, and more time for other things.”

AuctioniTNJ is located at 4 Bridge Plaza Drive in Manalapan, New Jersey, and is open 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. weekdays, and Saturdays by appointment. Those interested can also visit www.AuctioniTNJ.com or call 732-972-1443 for more information.
